Important Information for the upcoming week - 2 Things

Hey Parents, 2 important things in this email to get ready for the upcoming week and our first meet!

First, we are trying to get everyone to go online to your account sign in or out for the swim meets.  This will be the best way to let Stephanie know your child isn't going to be available to swim.

When you sign out, it automatically removes them from the roster for that meet, and she cannot place them in any events. It will make setting up the meet SO much easier.  And if you don't tell us you aren't coming and Stephanie puts your child in relays, we will have to do a lot of last minute rescheduling and some kids may get left out of relays. Please be courteous to the coach and your teammates. Always let us know  if you won't be at the meet.

The process is so simple.  Click on the link below (also accessible from the team website) and next to each meet is a green button to declare you swimmer present or absent.  Click on the button and on the next page you can edit their status.

Secondly, SwimTopia’s mobile app is available to all members of a team using a SwimTopia website (a valid SwimTopia login is required). The FREE mobile app shows a personalized view of your family’s meet entries, volunteer signups and swim history. And now SwimTopia's mobile app has some great features to help keep parents better informed, like our new Notification Alerts, and Live Event/Heat bar!

Downloading the app means I can send out push notifications about cancellations, changes, etc, and you can get them immediately on your phone instead of in your email!

And if your team is using Meet Maestro™ (we are planning to give it a test run), SwimTopia’s new meet management solution, you’ll have access to heat sheets, estimated start times, live meet results and team scores when you upgrade to our Pro subscription.  We won't be running it during the meets, but other teams will, specifically Spring Branch.  You can decide if it is worth the upgrade or not!

Thanks so much!

And don't forget, we still have 7 jobs open for Thursday. (Don't be afraid of Scorekeeper, it isn't hard and we can get you trained and you will have a seat with a view of the finish line and be in the shade with a fan for the whole meet!)
