Job Sign Ups Next Week

It is almost time for Job Sign Ups!

On May 27 at 7 PM the job sign up will magically open and you can sign up for any job you want!

A friendly reminder that summer swim team DOES NOT run without everyone pitching in. We need all parents to contribute in some way.

We have many kinds of jobs: helping set up for the meet, helping corral the kids and get them to the ready bench area, selling concessions, place judge, stroke judge, touch/turn judge and more!

**If you have any kind of a swimming background – you were a swimmer, you watched a lot of swimming, you really love swimming – we need you to be a stroke and touch/turn judge. Many of our judges have kids who are will soon age out of swim team and we need to replace them.

If you sign up for a job and you need training - like place, stroke or touch/turn judge - the league has training Sunday, June 1 at 4 PM at Memorial West Swimming Pool at the corner of Kirkwood and Memorial. I strongly encourage everyone who can to go so you can learn the rules of our swim league (they do differ from USA Swimming).

**REMEMBER** You must sign up for 2 shifts (points) per child that you have registered for swim team (half-lappers not included). Each job has a point value listed - some are 1 point for half meet jobs and some are 2 points for whole meet jobs. Here is the link: plazaoakspiranhas.swimtopia.com/swim_meets Here are the instructions (also found on meets tab on the website):
